P.J. Martinelli is committed to the highest standards, therefore the quality, welfare and health of our chickens are paramount.
P.J. Martinelli and their suppliers have been inspected and approved for Halal production. Based on this, the chicken we serve has been slaughtered according to Islamic rites.

Our chicken comes from P.J. Martinelli, a Smithfield-based supplier with full halal certification. Their farms and processing facilities have been independently inspected and approved for halal production. The slaughter is carried out according to Islamic rites. Our kitchens contain no pork or pork-derived ingredients. Halal chicken is handled and stored separately throughout.
We serve the same full menu at every location — Chipuffalo Wings, buffalo wings, Korean BBQ wings, habanero hot wings, the Thunderbun and all our sides — and every item on it is halal. There’s no separate halal menu. There’s no “ask for the halal option.” It’s all halal.
These products do not contain any pork or pork derivatives
All our Halal Chicken is clearly segregated and these products contain no ingredients that are not halal, thus these products do not contain any pork or pork derivatives.
Therefore, Muslims can consume and handle these products as Halal products.
